Motocross is a sport that thrills people all around the world. Sometimes the visuals of free flying maneuvers put me in a place that sends free streams of questions to my mind. Wow, look at that? Man, how can he do it? Ouch, wonder how many times he had to take a dive before he learned to do that? The spectacle of this sport challenges my understanding of boundaries.

It takes real guts to put yourself out there. Motocross boys’ rock! You can bet that they are smart and they have nerves of steel. That’s the kind of guy that I find attractive. It took me a while of observation and study to understand just how many safety precautions are wrapped up in each well planned maneuver.

The smart girl in me is intrigued by the physics and aerodynamics of the jumps. But part of the reason that these guys are hot is because they practice safety first. Protective gear is paramount. While I’m looking at the guy, his team, sometimes his mom is looking at his helmet, his boots, his mouth gear and his neck brace. While I’m thinking perfect form, force and lift, his team is thinking injection moulding vs biofoam.
